Where
Are You Researching??? Help WorldVitalRecords.com Determine the Content
You Need!
WorldVitalRecords.com exists to help individuals with their genealogy.
Currently, WorldVitalRecords.com is in the process of scanning the Everton
Genealogical Library and has the challenge of selecting the first data
sets to scan from among thousands of genealogical data sets.
WorldVitalRecords.com does not want to make these decisions without
you. We need your help to determine the content that we should scan
and index first. Please let us know where you are researching, the data
sets you seek, or types of data you need. We listen to you and we'll
scan, index, and try to prep the data from the suggestions that you
submit to us before we scan the entirety of the material.
Let your voice be heard, and let the content you want be available for
you at WorldVitalRecords.com. Send an email to content@worldvitalrecords.com.

AdviseMe
on my Genealogy!
WorldVitalRecords.com has added a new genealogy column to its weekly
newsletter to help individuals with their genealogy. (Sign up for the
weekly newsletter here!)
Currently WorldVitalRecords.com receives various genealogy-related inquiries.
WorldVitalRecords.com thinks these questions are important and that
answering them will benefit many people, instead of just one person.
Although WorldVitalRecords.com would like to perform all of the research
for people who submit questions, the author of this column will primarily
help researchers find the right sources, contacts, and give them the
proper “road map” to find their answers.
Starting next week, the column author will select one of these questions,
answer it, and post it in the newsletter.
Individuals who wish to submit a question should send it to amanda@worldvitalrecords.com.
We look forward to hearing from you!

Family Vital Records Link Generations
By
Amanda Forson, WorldVitalRecords.com
This past week, my father came into town to celebrate the holidays.
As part of the celebration, I decided that he needed to see some of
the discoveries concerning his family’s direct lines. Researching
last year, I found the proper microfilm for his grandfather’s
family in the town of Nadlice (Nadlany) in the area of Trencin, within
Slovakia.

FAQ 1: How Do I Use Advanced Search at WorldVitalRecords.com?
If you can't find the ancestors you are looking for in our general
search, try the Advanced Search option! The Advanced Search button
is located on the top left hand corner, right below the WorldVitalRecords.com
banner.
Here are some tips to help you with your searches:
1. All of the fields in the Advanced Search box are NOT required.
If you enter only a "Family Name" you will get matches for
people with that name. If you enter only a "Place" you will
get results from that place, which may be a city, county, state, or
country.
2. The more fields in which you add data, the more refined your search
will be. (You will receive fewer results from this search request.)
3. If you perform a search and do not receive any results (0 results),
try removing text from the Place, Year, and Keyword fields, as the
databases may not have that information.
If you have feedback on how we can make our search process better
for you, please send an email to feedback@worldvitalrecords.com.
