The 1841 UK census was the first census of high genealogical value by asking for the names of the occupants of enumerated residences, along with questions as listed below. Questions Asked in the 1841 Census

Column 1- Place
Column 2- Houses
Column 3- Names
Column 4- Age, with separate columns for males and females
Column 5- Profession, trade, employment, independently wealthy
Column 6- Where born (if in same county, Scotland, Ireland, or foreign)
