The Scotch-Irish in South-Western Pennsylvania.
The Scotch-Irish in South-Western Pennsylvania.. The state of Pennsylvania has been central in many of the principals which define the Constitution of United States of America. This paper, by S. T. Wiley, draws a parallel between this history of influence and the large population of Scotch-Irish resident, particularly in the southwest of the state. Many of the most prominent Scotch-Irish are identified together with their cause for celebrity.
