IT System Adminstrator

Job Description:
FamilyLink.com, Inc. has an immediate opening for a part time IT system administrator.

Title: IT System Adminstrator
Status: Part Time
Salary/Wage: Dependent on Education and Experience
Opening Date: May 1st, 2008

Basic Function

  • Responsible for administering information technology, including- computer hardware, network maintenance, and all software applications.
  • Analyzes the system needs of the organization, recommends priorities, systems design and implementation of information and hardware systems.
  • Provides desktop support to approximately 20 users.

Duties & Responsibilities Network Administration/Systems Maintenance General local area network (LAN) administration:

  • Ensure that the LAN is running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Proactively advise management team on software and hardware needs.
  • Maintain servers, workstations and peripheral hardware.
  • Purchase, install and maintain software on all computers.
  • Interface with outside consultants and service providers.
  • Administer data back-up system, restore as required.
  • Design and administer virus protection procedures.
  • Provide ongoing technical support to staff.
  • Technical Support (Hardware and Software).
  • Provide computer and applications training for staff as needed.
  • Provide troubleshooting and problem solving services for staff concerning hardware and software.

Qualifications

  • Network administration experience with an emphasis on Microsoft WindowsNT, Windows2000, Windows98, WindowsXP, Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Office suite.
  • A positive attitude and customer service skills.



Lead Generation Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop, and implement effective lead generation programs in an effort to provide highly qualified leads for internal sales force
  • Creatively use various content assets such as web, email, direct mail, automated phone, videos, webinars, podcasts, and industry partners to effectively capture qualified leads
  • Identify and manage third party vendors to help provide and implement lead generation programs
  • Analyze campaigns to assess effectiveness of programs

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years experience in lead generation or product management role
  • Familiarity with B2C sales cycle related to internal sales force
  • General working knowledge of call centers and databases
  • Strong analytical, relationship building, people management and strategic thinking skills are required. This individual is required to work effectively with all departments, as many of the teams that contribute to the success of this role are not direct reports
  • Prior experience in the development of lead generation efforts in the Family History/Genealogy industry is highly desirable
